Rejected Gossip Girl Fan Art!

Ever one to jump on the train after it left the station, I present my sorry butthurt tale of the cruel and unforgiving Robin McConnell who heartlessly REJECTED my Gossip Girl fan art for his forthcoming Gossip Girl fan-zine! I cried and cried for a long time once I got the rejection letter, he called me mean names he said my art blew donkey vomit, he said my mom was a lame, and promised to spit on the grave of my still-borne comix career! Also he looks like a bird! A red breasted sidekick bird at that!

Robin is awesome, he did reject my one page of Gossip Girl fan art but I really am not pissy about it or anything so dumb. I listen to his podcast, Inkstuds and enjoy it immensely, it has introduced me to tons of awesome cartoonists and books and involves thinking about comics as more than the summer cross-over event and who is the hottest penciler or writer or who has got bigger junk, Power Girl or Mary Marvel?

So if you don't already go listen to his podcast and check his site out http://www.inkstuds.org/ you're sure to find some great new artists and a much different (and better) opinion about comics as a whole than a podcast that focuses solely on whether or not Bruce Wayne is circumcised.

BERSERK!

So this is my entry for the weekly Ten Ton Studios sketch challenge, from the Berserk manga.

What For?

Not sure what is going on in these panels, something about pies & spies and no forks I guess. The last few weeks I've had to move my studio across town and all kinds of crazy sheet. Think I'm vaguely starting to get a handle on things, made a short comic with my buddy Paul Jessup the other night and getting close to finished with No Legs so I can take it to the printer and be ready for the debut at Erie Anime Experience. Also I got a few more projects that are coming together with some other awesome folks, but for now you get weird stuff I found when moving. Thanks everybody, except you, yeah you big fat yellow turd.
